This application enables e-learning. The 5D representation of for example a process tool, including all parts, or a car is inserted in the Inter-Vision environment of 5D.Tools. With a “script editor”, installation, operation and maintenance procedures are linked to the intelligent objects. Trainees at any web-based location can logon and follow the step by step training scripts. Within the interactive real time environment every step is done exactly like in reality, such as assembly or disassembly of parts, calibrating, cleaning, testing, operating, repairing, replacing parts, etc. The progress of every trainee is registered and the results are reported. Supervisors may logon as well to join a training session of a certain trainee.
